Hi, I'm Michael Robinson, owner and lead photographer of M. E. Robinson Photography. For more than a decade, I've helped individuals, businesses, churches, and organizations tell their stories through authentic photography that captures both the moment and the people behind it. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, I specialize in headshots, personal branding, portraits, conferences, and event photography designed to create lasting memories, strengthen brands, and tell meaningful stories.

My photography journey began in church ministry, where I first discovered the power of documenting moments that bring people together. Through worship services, community events, and ministry gatherings, I learned that photography is about much more than taking pictures—it's about preserving experiences, capturing emotions, and telling stories that continue long after the moment has passed.

In 2014, I photographed my first major conference, an experience that helped shape my passion for event and conference photography. Since then, I've had the privilege of photographing conferences, leadership events, corporate gatherings, church events, celebrations, and portrait sessions throughout Charlotte and beyond. Every event has reinforced one simple truth: behind every photograph is a story worth telling.While I love the creative and technical aspects of photography, what inspires me most is people. One of the most rewarding parts of my work is helping someone who may not see themselves as photogenic discover just how incredible they truly are. Many clients arrive feeling nervous or unsure about being in front of the camera. My goal is to create an experience that is relaxed, enjoyable, and comfortable, allowing their personality and confidence to shine through naturally.

There is nothing quite like seeing a client's reaction when they view their images for the first time. Watching someone recognize their own confidence, beauty, professionalism, or personality reflected back to them is one of the reasons I love what I do. Knowing that I've helped create photographs that bring joy, preserve memories, and tell a meaningful story is an honor I never take for granted.

My philosophy is simple: great photography begins with great relationships!
